It was announced few days ago that the ticket for the 2018 Rainforest World Music Festival is now on sale. You can get cheaper discounted price for the ticket until 30th April 2018 during the early bird purchasing period. That’s 10 days to go until the ticket price moved to the next tier which is pre-sale period and the price will be higher. It’s advised that you purchase the ticket now to get that cheaper price especially if you’re already planning your trip to this festival since last year to save some money.

Okra Playground at RWMF 2017

We have highlighted two of our favorite performances for the 2017 Rainforest World Music Festival, Ilu Leto and At Adau. Here we want to highlight one more band that caught our attention the most during that festival, the Okra Playground. This band originated from Helsinki, Finland. In our previous post we highlighted Sarawak’s very own Ilu Leto as one of our favorites in the last RWMF 2017. This time we want to highlight another band from Sarawak, the famous World Music Band, At Adau. They performed in this year’s Rainforest World Music Festival but their music journey started way before that. Like Ilu Leto, all their members are natives of Sarawak, Borneo.

Ilu Leto at Rainforest World Music Festival 2017

During the just-concluded Rainforest World Music Festival 2017, all the performances were awesome and very entertaining. We definitely loved all of them but we have some favorites that we want to highlight. One band that caught our most attention was Sarawak very own Ilu Leto. It was their first time performing at RWMF as a band.
