Asia Food Kitchen At RWMF 2018

Asia Food Kitchen or AFK started to be a part of Rainforest World Music Festival since last year. It was successfully organized last year and the festival goers loved all the food they offered. AFK is an event where the organizer brought in some chefs from member country of EATOF to showcase and sell their foods. Cabeijo Restaurant, Sibu, Sarawak

Recently we went to a restaurant called Cabeijo in Sibu, Sarawak. We are a big fan of a dish called Lalapan. The best one we’ve had was in a restaurant called Muara Restaurant in Miri, Sarawak but this might be one of its contenders for serving that dish. EATOF Park by Asia Food Kitchen at RWMF 2017

Asia Food Kitchen entered its 2nd year this year. It was held during the 20th Anniversary of Rainforest World Music Festival from 14th to 16th of July 2017. This year it was called EATOF Park by Asia Food Kitchen. EATOF stands for East Asia Tourism Forum which consist of 10 countries as members.

EATOF Park by Asia Food Kitchen was joint by 6 representatives. They were representing the EATOF Member Countries. EATOF is a tourism platform that promotes tourism and culture of its member countries. Representatives from Yogyakarta Special Region, Indonesia and Korea were part of this year’s EATOF Park.…

Buddha at Candi Borobudur

Candi Borobudur is the world’s largest Buddhist temple. There are many interesting facts about this Candi or temple. One of them is that the temple consists of nine stacked platforms, six square and three circular, topped by a central dome at the very top level. It was believed that pilgrims who came here will follow the guided routes to ascend to the top to reach the highest order of their pilgrimage.
